Upgrades to the Member Dashboard Site members that are logged in can access a member dashboard containing their profile information, reports, and content or catalog directories.  The "My Profile" section displays a member's information and allows that member to update it.   This upgrade allows a site administrator to hide the "My Profile" section so it cannot be viewed or modified.  If the My Profile section is displayed, the site administrator can add fields from member administration to allow the member to update their profile which will also update member administration.

Improvements to the Message Library A site administrator can create one or more customized reports to hold specific lists of recipients for an email message or newsletter created in the message library.  Use this feature to review the individuals that will receive the message to make sure you have the right audience.

private sites

Improvements for Private Sites Private sites can be accessed from the Convey login page or can be accessed from a 3rd party site through a single sign on process.  For those using a single sign on process, this improvement will allow an alternate URL to be added to redirect the user away from the Convey login page to the 3rd party login page.  A person will be redirected to the custom URL when: They try to access any part of the Convey site without logging in They were previously logged into the Convey site, but got logged out of their session due to inactivity If an Alternate URL is added, site administrators can still log in directly without going through the 3rd party site by going to <sitedomain>/adminlogin

Email Share

Posts can now be shared to any 3rd party simply by clicking on the orange "Email" button in the upper right-hand corner of a post. A post must allow Email Share for this button to appear. Once clicked, an email will be generated in your email client. The email will contain a unique link that will allow any recipient(s) to access the post, even if they don't have access to the site.

New UI, Posts

Recently, we released a redesigned front-end of the site that included improvements to the homepage, site pages, and catalogs. These changes were meant to improve the user experience as well as accommodate mobile devices as well as HD and widescreen monitors. We are happy to announce that we've also released the same improvements for the posts on our site.

Catalog page, Homepage, New UI, Product Release

We're proud to announce an updated front-end interface for our sites that will improve the look and feel of the homepage, catalog pages, and posts. It will also improve how these pages are viewed on mobile devices.

Currently, catalog banners can only appear on each catalog that they have been added to. To help increase a catalog's visibility on a site, we have added the ability for a catalog banner to appear on a site homepage. *This improvement is applicable to catalogs that have a Premium Catalog Subscription.

Currently, catalog banners can be linked to specific posts or pages on a spoke catalog. However, this process has been time-consuming for banners added to multiple spoke sites because the user must go to each site, find the URL for the page or post on that site and enter it into the hyperlink box in the manage banner section. With this improvement, the user can find the page or post on the hub site, enter the URL one time and have the system prepopulate the correct URL for each individual spoke site.

Site members login and will see a new dashboard that customizes their content viewing experience. Members can subscribe to specific catalogs to get a personal newsfeed. Bookmarks allow members to tag content to be viewed later. My Events displays events that members register for on the Convey site. Site owners can add files into a customized file storage area that is organized by folder. Members are alerted when a file is added and can access and download that file.

Files can be added to the dashboard of site members by uploading the file individually or doing a "batch upload". With our new Batch Upload tool under the Members section in Administration, site owners can now upload a single .zip file that contains individualized documents for each member. Use this tool to upload personalized items like commission statements, incentives, etc.

A post directory lists out posts that appear on the site or in the catalog. This can be used to showcase a certain type of posts that are appearing on the site or catalog.
